Barton Springs Salamander: The Barton Springs Salamanders have been protected since 1997, There lifespan is about 15 years.Salamanders pretty much eat anything that fits int here mouth algea,flat worms, may Fly's, or catasflys. Salamanders are being affected by the drought were having to go through right now becuase there getting less oxygen. There is not an accurate number of salamanders since scientist predict maybe they lay there eggs inside the Aquifer and no one is capable to get in there.

Texas Blind Salamander: Only 4 inches long, it pretches on small ledches lining the walls of caves near San Marcos Springs. It's bright red giils extrapt oxigen fromt he constant floral and even temperature of water. Eat tiny snails,shrimp, and other tiny creatures.

Bone Cave Harvestmen: Thrives on the wet wall of sink holes inside the Aquifer. It is about the size of a drop of water and it is pale orange,long legged, and bling from generations of living in darkness.

WideMouth Blindcat: Lives in caves under the Aquifer, growns nearly 6 inches long it has large jaws and lots of teeth it prays apong smaller creatures.

Toothless Blindcat : Grows only 4 inches long,and scaveges bacteria from cave walls. It has no eyes or teeth but instead it has taste buds all over it's body like those on your tounge!
